Four major technological innovations of Zewell's industrialized production of sucrose chelated mineral elements and efficient utilization technology for laying hens


The technical achievements of Zewell's sucrose chelated mineral elements industrial production and efficient utilization of laying hens take commercial laying hens as the research object, focusing on the key technical issues of industrialization such as high-yield and high-efficiency laying hens, high-quality egg production, and functional egg development under highly intensive and high-yield stress feeding conditions.

The technical achievements of Zewell's sucrose chelated mineral elements industrial production and efficient utilization of laying hens take commercial laying hens as the research object, focusing on the key technical issues of industrialization such as high-yield and high-efficiency laying hens, high-quality egg production, and functional egg development under highly intensive and high-yield stress feeding conditions.

The key technologies and solutions in four aspects, namely, key technologies for high-yield laying hens with sucrose organic trace elements, key technologies for improving egg quality with sucrose organic trace elements, key technologies for functional egg production with sucrose organic trace elements, and standardization and industrialization demonstration of sucrose organic trace elements for laying hens, have been solved, forming the technical achievements of "industrial production of sucrose chelated mineral elements and efficient utilization of laying hens".

 

Four major technological innovations of Zewell's industrialized production of sucrose chelated mineral elements and efficient utilization technology for laying hens

 

The main technological innovations include:

1. Using sucrose from molasses, a byproduct of sugar production, as a ligand, the chelation process of sucrose with copper, zinc, iron, manganese, etc. was studied by combining chemical chelation process and biotechnology, and the corresponding additive products were created

2. A composite premix for laying hens based on sucrose chelated trace elements was developed. Compared with inorganic trace elements, the egg production was increased by 3.4%~5.8%, egg weight by 2.6%~3.9%, and CuZn-SOD activity in egg yolk by more than 120% under the condition of 25% reduction; the copper, zinc and iron contents of egg white increased by 10%~55%, 55%~181% and 3%~8% respectively; the copper, zinc and iron contents of egg yolk increased by 196%~355%, 11%~20% and 1.7%~8.1% respectively; the copper, zinc and iron contents of egg shell increased by 25%~42%, 19.2%~98.0% respectively and 1.1%~6.5%.

3. Developed a multi-calcium composite premix product, and determined the technical solution of adding 2.5%~3.5% calcium citrate or 2.0%~3.0% multi-calcium to the diet to increase egg production, egg quality and egg nutrient content; determined the technical solution of adding 3.5%~4.5% calcium citrate or 4.0%~5.0% multi-calcium to the diet to increase the tibia circumference and tibia weight of laying hens.

4. The results have won 4 national invention patents, formulated 10 enterprise product standards, built 3 sucrose chelated mineral element production lines, established 10 high-quality functional egg production demonstration bases, and promoted 335 million laying hens.
