Over the past 30 years, the company has focused on the R & D of chelates, and strive to become a professional production and R & D base of high-purity and complete chelating organic trace elements in China and even in the world, and a complete service provider of chelating high-purity products. In 2022, Nanning Zeweier together with Yin Yulong, academician of The Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, The Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Yang zaibin, Professor of Shandong Agricultural University, jointly established the "Industrial Technology Research Institute of sugar trace element complex", and developed the fourth generation oligodisaccharide chelate - "biose Fe•disaccharide iron", a poly energy absorption iron supplement, to effectively solve the problem of low iron absorption rate of the iron supplement.

The "sugar trace element complex industrial technology research institute" is approved by the government, based on the technical research team and mineral detection center of Nanning Zeweier Feed Co., Ltd., in conjunction with the professor team of mineral nutrition in colleges and research institutes, such as Subtropical Agricultural Ecology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Agricultural University, Shandong Agricultural University, Guangxi University, Sichuan Agricultural University, South China Agricultural University, Nanchang University and Guilin University of Technology, aims to take advantage of Guangxi's sucrose and mineral resources, based on the mineral synthesis process of Nanning Zeweier Feed Co., Ltd. for decades, to study new processes and methods for chemical synthesis and biological improvement of sugar mineral complex, and develop new products of sugar mineral complex with low energy consumption, low cost and high efficiency.
