Nowadays, intensive livestock and poultry farming pays more attention to energy saving and cost reduction, precise feeding, and the ratio of organic trace elements. Recently, a customer asked Zewell: How much ferrous fumarate should be used for laying hens?

First of all, we know that ferrous fumarate feed additives must comply with the author's standard "GB/T27983-2011".

It is a high-purity, cost-effective organic iron source.

Its main effects on livestock and poultry are to supplement iron and blood, improve meat quality, promote growth and weight gain, etc.

Generally, as an additive for poultry compound feed, the addition amount per ton is 200 grams to 400 grams per ton.

However, for laying hens' feed, it is not recommended to add ferrous fumarate alone, but it is recommended to use a chelated organic trace element compound package - laying hen poultry Lele.

Laying chicken chicken Lele contains trace elements such as copper, zinc, manganese, iron, iodine and selenium required by laying hens. Through chelation, it is chelated into organic trace elements that are easier for livestock and poultry to absorb, which can significantly improve eggshell quality, reduce egg breakage rate, and reduce feed-egg ratio.

The amount of feed added per ton of laying hen is 500g~1000g. For specific addition plans, please call Zewell customer service, contact number: 0771-4016709
